Lava Hot Springs Inn. Featuring 6 outdoor special use pools ranging in temperature from 95 to 105 degrees F and offer lodging and a full hot buffet breakfast each morning. The outdoor mineral hot springs are open to both the public and overnight guests.

The main Inn was completed in 1924 by the federal government as a sanitarium for war veterans. Wounded men would come to Lava on the train and enter the sanitarium for treatment of superficial wounds such as burns and shrapnel. The Inn later became the hospital for Lava and then a 'rest home'. The current owners purchased the Inn in 1988 and have since built 6 outdoor natural mineral hot water pools and have 12 rooms (out of 30) with indoor jetted tubs. The Lava Hot Springs Inn is unique in Lava because they are the only facility with natural mineral hot water special use pools for guests. The Inn also provides a full buffet hot meal breakfast each morning for overnight visitors.
